nothing at all, I was visiting Bradford, so I had to choose on hotel to stay in, which was The New Beehive Inn

There is a poor in the Internet, which upset me the last night at the hotel

    Fabulous

A great pub and handy for the town centre.

    Superb

This place has great character, somewhat quirky maybe but friendly, cheap and clean. The gas lit bar is a delight serving a good choice of well kept real ale. Free Wi-Fi for guests.

The TV didn't work - but not a major issue!

    Very good

The staff were friendly and the breakfast very good. The pub is also a gem.

Only downside for us were the noisy neighbours in an upstairs room who insisted on playing music until the early hours and an infuriating woman called Dagmar who was at breakfast at the same time as us and wouldn't shut up! (Of course that was just our bad luck and I don't believe typical for the Beehive)

    Fabulous

I found the staff to be curteous, warm, friendly and obliging. My room was quiet and tidy. There was a taxi pick up piont close by which was convenient

    Exceptional

Quirky and lovable. Really enjoyed the atmosphere in the gas lit bars. Mediterranean style courtyard. Rooms have been renovated and retained their edwardian character. Go and try it.

    Exceptional

The New Beehive Inn is a very traditional establishment with much history, right in the in the heart of the City of Bradford.. All the rooms are named after Bradford's links to the wool industry. The "Dye House", which I was allocated by the friendly staff was comfortable with four deep pillows and a most comfortable bed. The other rooms with evocative names such as "Penny Office", "Weaving Room", "Slubbing Room", "Spinning", "Carding", "Weaving",and "Warping", had a sense of history. The pictures in the bar areas were a 'blast to the past'. The beers were all local and very reasonably priced. Food was available at lunch times. I will definitely use the New Beehive for future visits to Bradford

Facilities were basic but that was what I had expected, staff were friendly and helpful. If I go back to Bradford I would stay there again.

    Good

    Nice traditionnal pub

Limited confort for business (small rooms with small desks).

    Very good

The Inn was very different from the bland tower block hotel . The breakfast was very good.

Allowances have to be made for the age of the building.

    Very good

Good location. Car Parking on site. Friendly, helpful staff.

Certain parts of the building would benifit from a program of refurbishment

    Superb

Friendly staff, relatively central location (7 minute walk to Bradford Forster Square and Bradford Innterchange stations). Although old in appearance, the room was clean and had character. Although on a main street, the noise was very tolerable. (Dubious, however, that the non-smoking policy is enforced). This was my second time here, this time different room; my needs are modest and for the budget conscious person, this hotel is great value for money. Fairly steep narrow stairs, which are no problem for the non disabled person. Could find nothing to support previous negative comments reported on Booked.net. iAnd the pub section has great character, reflecting Bradfords past. Would stay yet again.

    Very good

I liked the stay at The New Beehive Inn, the customer service, facilities and the location was very good. They are very friendly people working there.

The only cons are that the rooms are based on top of the pub which is very busy, the representive told me that they can be running the pub up until 2 or 3 in the morning. but otherwise they were great.
